Tangerine Dream - Glasgow Apollo Theatre - 24th March 1978. From the tape collection of David Gurr. Revised and updated edition, June 2019. Surprise... surprise...! Okay, this update may come out of the blue for most of you guys, but since I obtained David's cassette of this (mono) recording and compared it with the version commonly circulating (mainly as TL#86), I think you're in for a treat. IMHO Glasgow is one of the wildest gigs from the turbulent 1978 European tour and offers a somewhat different concert compared to others. The first set is relatively short, followed by a much longer second set and a pretty standard encore. Unfortunately, there's a major tape warble during the final minutes of the second set (with Jolliffe going completely mad on his Yamaha CP 70 electric piano), although the concluding part runs correct. Talking about speed issues: I have corrected the speed of the whole recording; the original cassette ran too fast. I didn't correct the tape warble. It's just warts 'n all, folks! -> This remaster is archived in 16/48 FLAC format -> This remaster replaces TL #86 -> Artwork by Matthew will follow shortly -> Remaster by Wouter Bessels -> enjoy listening! -> leave your comment below DO NOT SELL.
