Tangerine Dream - Brighton, The Dome - 10th June 1976. From the tape collection of David Gurr. Revised and updated edition, June 2019. ...the return of 'surprise....surprise'.... Another remaster of one of Tangerine Dream's most eerie gigs played in the 70s, just before recording the Stratosfear album and that month of June 1976 that saw TD performing epic gigs, such as their second Royal Albert Hall and Berlin Philharmonie concerts. The Brighton gig has always been under the radar, standing in the shadow of the aforementioned gigs, but as you can hear on this new improved remaster (from David's 1st gen copy), the band was on a roll that night, delivering an atmospheric performance. Despite the somewhat hollow sound of the recording, it comes out pretty well and balanced. Unfortunately, David's tape was missing the final minute from the third set (the encore) so I used an alternate source (2nd gen copy) to produce a complete version. ...so, this and Glasgow 1978 will keep you busy for some time...enjoy listening! -> This remaster is archived in 16/48 FLAC format -> This remaster replaces TT #81, TT #41 and TT #71 -> Artwork by Matthew will follow shortly -> Restoration by Wouter Bessels -> enjoy listening! -> leave your comment below DO NOT SELL.
