I have promised you all to come up with the best and most complete source for this show - and here it is, as an Easter Egg surprise. 

Straight from a 1st generation reel. This recording was made with a Revox or Uher tape recorder, probably using Sennheiser mics. Got this once from a Berlin friend, many many moons ago - on good old 1/4" Ampex reels.

Some of the louder bits sound a bit distorted, but nevertheless capture the wild atmosphere - although the audience wasn't very thrilled according to my source. You can notice that after both sets and before and after the encores: it's not your typical enthusiastic audience this time around.

But both performance-wise and recording-wise, this one ranks as the overall best recording from the Spring 1981 tour. Excellent solos by JS and a marvelous climaxing guitar solo by EF

Did I mention already that the second set - Silver Scale - still ranks among the best moments in TD's performance history?
