Tangerine Dream - The Keep: An Alternate View Revised and updated edition, May 2019. Here's my next remaster to share with you all. Originally, this collection of music made during the production of the movie The Keep in February 1983 was released as part of Heiko's & my project Tangerine Tree in 2004, but over the years I felt I was able to improve the overall quality. The goal of The Keep: An Alternate View was to collect music from those sessions that is featured in the movie itself - in various forms and during various cues. This is not an attempt to present the most complete collection of music made at those sessions, but to present a 'concised' version of The Keep. Main source for this collection is a cassette that originates from a San Diego film studio and of which a copy has been circulating for years and used on various unofficial/pirated releases. For this revised and updated edition of The Keep: An Alternate View, I have used a copy which is closer to the original master tape than previous editions. This is likely the best available source ever and, consequently, I decided to use very little denoising. I wanted to keep the music 'as it is', warts 'n all. Breathable, with full dynamics and very little compression. -> This remaster is archived in 16/44.1 FLAC format and replaces TT #54 -> artwork by Matthew will follow shortly -> enjoy listening! -> leave your comment below DO NOT SELL, DO NOT CONVERT TO MP3 OR SHARE THIS ON YOUTUBE.
